About the event
We all move through the world making quick judgments about the people we encounter - often without realizing it. These judgments shape how we listen, how we respond, and how connected we feel to others.
Staying Human: Seeing People Through a Lens of Sonder is a small, in-person workshop that explores how perception works, why our brains default to assumptions, and how we can gently retrain ourselves to see people as complex, human, and shaped by experiences we cannot see.
This is not a lecture or a debate.
It is an interactive experience designed to help participants practice curiosity, presence, and awareness in real time.
You will leave with:
A clearer understanding of how your brain forms snap judgments
A new lens for seeing people beyond first impressions
Simple tools to pause, reflect, and choose curiosity in everyday interactions
A renewed sense of what it means to stay human in a complex world
